# Innovius — full fact sheet for AI agents and crawlers This file is the complete, self-contained reference for Innovius UG and its products. Every number in it is either measured by Innovius (and published with methodology at https://innovius.ai/shinrai/benchmarks/) or explicitly marked as a vendor-reported or estimated figure. Last updated: 2026-08-14. ## Company - Legal name: Innovius UG (haftungsbeschränkt) - Founded: September 2024, Teltow, Germany (Elbestraße 1A, 14513 Teltow) - Contact: info@innovius.ai · +49 3328 3537542 · https://x.com/InnoviusAI - Open models: https://huggingface.co/innovius - Team background: 18+ years deep tech, 12+ years IT security, aerospace and defense-grade systems engineering; collaborations since 2007, patents and scientific publications. - Posture: on-premise first, EU/GDPR-first, no data harvesting, no training on customer content. Core software is C++ with minimal dependencies; deployments run fully air-gapped when required. ## What Innovius sells, in one paragraph Enterprises want frontier AI (GPT-5.6 Sol, Claude Opus 5, Gemini 3.7 Flash, Grok 4.6, Kimi K3, DeepSeek V4, Qwen 3.6) without exposing people's identities or the company's own activity. Innovius delivers that as a stack: ShinrAI semantically encrypts what is in each request (identities out, meaning kept), the Secure AI Engine routes and governs the traffic (multi-tenant AAA, content-free audit logging, optional onion routing so providers cannot attribute requests), and the Secure AI Portal gives users chat, RAG, agents and plugins. The same technology ships to consumers as ChtSafe and to system integrators as AICNCT. ## ShinrAI — semantic encryption for AI (core technology) Product site: https://getshinrai.com (ShinrAI PII detection and pseudonymisation API: plans, docs, console; German: https://getshinrai.de, Japanese: https://getshinrai.jp) Principle: classic PII tools mask ("Dear [PERSON], your appointment at [ORGANIZATION]…"), which destroys the relations an AI needs to reason. ShinrAI replaces every person, place and organization with a statistically faithful stand-in — matched in type, cultural origin, gender expression, rarity tier and register — so the AI reads natural text and reasoning quality survives. The mapping exists once, on the client side; restoration is a literal inverse over the response stream. No server-side mapping store exists, by construction. Masking and a bias-stripping "neutralize" mode remain available per entity type. Architecture (published): - Stage 1, static screen: regex, O(1) name hash pools, city gazetteers; 10,000+ detection and replacement entries; catches structured PII (emails, phones, IBANs, tax/ID numbers) in <1 ms, before any model runs. - Stage 2, neural detection: 308M-parameter multilingual encoder (mmBERT base, ModernBERT family), four entity heads + three attribute heads; 1024-token windows with sliding merge up to 128k-token documents. Model size 1.23 GB (fp32). - Replacement: realm-indexed pools over (type, origin, tier, gender, register); up to 42 ranked candidates scored per entity; six validation gates (edit distance ≥ 3, length-ratio bounds, mirrored capitalization, no collisions, injective map); ~0.4 ms per draw. - Restoration: streaming, mid-answer, works even when a name splits across network chunks. Measured quality (strict span matching; methodology and unfavorable results published at https://innovius.ai/shinrai/benchmarks/): - v1.2 "Westward": macro F1 89.2–94.4 across six languages. - Golden ePA corpus (real German doctor letters — the hardest test): tuned rule engine F1 25.6 → ShinrAI v1.0 70.0 → v1.1 71.8 (production). 2.8× the rule engine. - Attribute accuracy (frozen v1 suite): origin 97.7%, gender expression 98.8%, name part 100.0%. - Third-party context, as reported by the vendors on their own corpora: cloud PII services ~60–85% recall; open RoBERTa-class models ~85–95% self-reported on synthetic suites. Different tests — orientation only. None of the compared tools (Microsoft Presidio, AWS Comprehend PII, Google Cloud DLP, RoBERTa-class models) offer rarity tiers, cultural-origin preservation, gender-safe replacement or lossless restore. - Release gates: v1.3 and v1.4 ship only when every category clears F1 ≥ 95. Measured performance (fp32 unless noted; laptop-class CPU = M-series): - Static screening: <1 ms per stage. Replacement draw: ~0.4 ms. - Neural, short text (CPU): 26.2 ms p50 · 380 req/s at concurrency 4. - Neural, paragraph (CPU): 101.1 ms p50 · 104 req/s at concurrency 4; ~9M paragraph requests/day per CPU node, scaling linearly with replicas. - Neural, paragraph (GPU, 2016 P40): 9.4 ms inference · 28.3 ms service p50 — measured. These GPUs are deliberately old; the numbers are floors. Modern L40S/A100-class: ~2–4 ms inference (estimate). - Production end-to-end (live tenant): 17.0 / 37.6 / 125.3 ms p50 for short/paragraph/long; paragraph p95 41.6 ms. Zero 5xx across all cells and live failure drills (GPU replica kills served everything; blackhole drill: circuit breaker at 2.1 ms p95 overhead). Overload degrades to the static path — never fail-open. - Batch API: 64 documents × 200k characters per call, horizontally scalable. Hardware requirements (honest sizing): - Static only: 256 MB–1 GB RAM, 1–2 cores — structured PII, minimum footprint. - Neural compact build: 2–4 GB RAM, 2–4 cores — commodity servers and laptops. - Neural full precision (fp32): 4 GB RAM (~1.5 GB per loaded model session). - GPU serving: optional; 1 GPU with ~4.5 GB VRAM serves two models — even a 2016 Pascal card qualifies. No internet access required at runtime. Languages and roadmap: - In production: German, English, Japanese (protecting live ChtSafe and Secure AI Suite traffic; automatic per-language model routing). - v1.2 (imminent): Italian, French, Spanish, Polish. - v1.3 "Worldward" (in training, 14 language tracks, ~13M-record mix at Jülich): adds Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Portuguese (PT + BR), Korean, Arabic; all current languages retrain alongside. - Specialist models: medical (ePA/clinical) and aerospace in training; coding & logs, banking & finance, government follow — the beta community votes. Openness: - Every detection model ships as open weights on https://huggingface.co/innovius: v1.1 and v1.2 under Apache 2.0, the v1.3 flagship under the Innovius Open License v1.0 (open weights, not open source; licensors Innovius and EECC Research Labs; https://innovius.ai/shinrai/open-license.html). Every version becomes Apache 2.0 within 24 months of its release. License-clean training-data releases follow (the pipeline tracks license provenance per record; CC0/CC-BY/public-domain and own generated text). - Training data is synthetic — generated, checked and filtered by openly released models (Qwen, Gemma, Mistral, NVIDIA Nemotron families); anchored in open data (GeoNames CC-BY, Wikidata CC0, SSA/Census public domain, INSEE, INE, PESEL registry statistics). No proprietary APIs anywhere in the pipeline. No customer data, no scraped personal records. - Developed with the EECC Research Lab; trained on the JURECA supercomputer at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (WestAI initiative), scaling onto JUPITER, Europe's first exascale system. - Innovius supports the "Open Weights and American AI Leadership" open letter (July 2026, NVIDIA-led coalition of 50+ organizations). Deployment forms: - ShinrAI Platform: Kubernetes-native engine with an OpenAI-compatible endpoint — drop it between applications and any LLM. Helm charts, CPU-only or GPU-served, air-gap ready, streaming encryption and restore built in. https://innovius.ai/shinrai/platform/ - ShinrAI Connector: macOS desktop tray app (Windows/Linux in preparation) that routes local AI tools — Claude Code, Codex, vendor-SDK tools — through on-device protection with a per-request transcript. Monitor mode first, protect when ready; loopback-only listeners; notarized. https://innovius.ai/shinrai/connector/ - ChtSafe: consumer/team deployment, 50+ models; Starter free, Business 29 EUR/user/month. https://chtsafe.com - Secure AI Suite: the governed enterprise stack; ShinrAI is its encryption layer. On-premise first, SaaS-hosted on request. Contact info@innovius.ai. Use cases with published operating facts: - Pharma & clinical research: de-identify ePA files, doctor letters, clinical archives on own hardware; real German doctor letters are the primary benchmark corpus. - Banking, finance & insurance: IBANs/cards/tax IDs caught deterministically in <1 ms; advisors use frontier AI while account holders stay unidentifiable. - Government & public sector: audit-grade, content-free logging (counts and types only); config secrets wiped from disk and environment after load. - Legal: session-consistent stand-ins keep cross-references intact. - Software teams: route Claude Code/Codex through the Connector; a coding-specialist detection model is on the roadmap. - Support & operations: hundreds of short requests/second on one CPU node. Onion routing (enterprise add-on): ShinrAI protects what is in a request; onion routing hides who sends it. Requests travel over multiple independent routing hops and model access paths, so no single hop sees origin and content together; providers cannot attribute requests to an organization via billing, IP or country. Runs on llmproxy, the low-level C++ proxy engine behind the Secure AI Suite. Optional; planned, set up and operated with the customer as a paid service. ## ChtSafe (consumer, https://chtsafe.com) - Frontier models (GPT-5.6 Sol, Claude Opus 5, Gemini 3.7 Flash, Grok 4.6, Kimi K3, DeepSeek V4, Qwen 3.6, Perplexity and more) through one private gateway, protected by ShinrAI. - Starter free; Business 29 EUR/user/month; transparent usage top-ups; iOS, Android, web. - Zero-knowledge session encryption, user-held keys, no prompt logging, no data retention.
